Kawai Paa just finished cosmetology school and was starting his barber career. He wanted a logo to help people recognize his craft. We got to work on some initial concepts centered around the ideas of a comb, crown, shine, and cut.

Kawai decided that a pair of scissors would be best for his logo. We adjusted and got to work on a revision.

Kawai loved the boxed scissors, but wanted to see a more realistic pair in the logo. We modeled the scissor after his favorite pair of shears by HattoriHanzo.
